Job summary

Center Parcs Whinfell Forest is hiring a Security Assistant / Driver to safeguard guests and help with mobility, luggage and deliveries across the village. The role combines security duties with friendly guest support and driving responsibilities.

Shifts are part-time, 12:00pm–6:00pm, with a minimum of 48 hours over 4 weeks. A Full Driving Licence and SIA Door Supervisor badge are required or willingness to train; closing date 2 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work under pressure in a hospitality environment.
• Full valid driving licence held minimum 6 months.
• SIA Door Supervisor badge and First Aid at Work or willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with mobility, luggage and deliveries across the village.
• Provide prompt, professional support and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Support security operations as required.
• Occasionally act as Security Officer in line with SIA regulations.

We are seeking a Security Assistant / Driver to join our team, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests across our village.

What you'll be doing

• Assist guests with mobility needs, luggage and deliveries across the village
• Provide prompt, professional support and maintain a safe, welcoming environment
• Support security operations when required
• Occasionally act up as a Security Officer in line with SIA regulations

Your working hours

• Part-time contract, shifts fall between 12:00pm and 6:00pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays

About you

• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure
• IT knowledge; friendly and approachable
• Full Driving Licence (held for a minimum of 6 months)
• SIA Door Supervisor badge and First Aid at Work certificate, or willingness to undertake training
