Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect.
• Experience designing secure architectures in high-risk or highly regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of NCSC CAF and ISO 27001.
• Experience across cloud, hybrid and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, vulnerabilities and risk-based security design.
• Ability to translate security and compliance requirements into technical architecture.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• TOGAF or enterprise architecture experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and assure secure architectures across complex technology environments.
• Define security architecture principles, standards and design patterns.
• Embed security into architecture governance.
• Review existing cloud, hybrid and on‑premises architectures and identify areas for improvement.
• Translate cyber threats and risk into practical, proportionate security controls.
• Provide security architecture support to technical teams and transformation programmes.
• Ensure alignment with relevant security standards, frameworks and risk requirements.
• Act as a senior technical authority and mentor other security professionals.

• SC cleared role - current active clearance is essential
• Hybrid - London
• Sole British national only - due to nature of the project
• Outside IR35
• £600 - £700 a day
