Job summary

Leeds United FC is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Security Engineer to join as the club’s first dedicated cybersecurity specialist. Based at Elland Road, Leeds, you will build security foundations, embed controls into infrastructure projects, and lead security operations across the organisation.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will manage vulnerability programs, IAM (Entra ID / Intune), MFA, and secure stadium technology projects, while ensuring compliance with UK GDPR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security technologies.
• Experience administering Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience implementing MFA, Conditional Access and identity controls.
• Experience securing network infrastructure including VLANs, firewalls and segmentation.
• Experience developing or contributing to incident response processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network architectures across club and stadium environments.
• Develop and maintain network segmentation, firewall configurations, and zero-trust access controls.
• Act as security lead across stadium development projects and review supplier security requirements.
• Establish and manage vulnerability management programme and remediation activities.
• Manage patching across servers, endpoints, and infrastructure.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, MFA and CA policies.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Club's Incident Response Plan and DR/BC plans.
• Monitor SIEM and security events; produce security reports for IT leadership.
