Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking an experienced Security Architect for the Sizewell C programme in London, with hybrid working and occasional travel to Suffolk. The role is permanent and full-time with a salary circa £80,000 plus benefits. Closing date 5 November 2026.

You will lead secure design across systems, infrastructure, cloud, and OT, collaborating with cyber security, enterprise architecture, and suppliers to set standards and manage risk.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Security Architect or senior cyber security role in large organisations.
• Extensive knowledge of security architecture frameworks and cloud security principles.
• Experience with IAM, Zero Trust, secure access models, and monitoring technologies.
• Designing secure enterprise and operational technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and governance of secure technology solutions across Sizewell C.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, EA, Engineering, Infrastructure and suppliers to define standards and assess risk.
• Ensure security is embedded from inception through delivery in diverse environments.
