Job summary

Linklaters is seeking an experienced Security Architect to design and maintain the firm's security architecture across platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives, risk management, and regulatory obligations.

You will lead security architecture initiatives, collaborate with IT, Legal & Risk, and business teams, and implement secure-by-design patterns, standards, and controls while promoting resilience and scalable security.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing security architecture patterns in complex environments.
• Proven ability to manage the complete security architecture lifecycle, from design to implementation and optimisation.
• Strong track record collaborating with diverse stakeholders to understand security and business requirements.
• Familiarity with information security frameworks, risk management, and regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the security architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap for the organisation.
• Promote secure-by-design principles to support the Firm’s business strategy and protect information assets.
• Advise the business and technology teams on security architecture opportunities, risks, and control requirements across applications, cloud services, data platforms, and third‑party solutions.
• Design and develop security architecture patterns, standards, principles, and policies across platforms and technology domains.
• Assess and optimise security, resilience, scalability, and maintainability of technology architecture across the organisation.
