Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a Security Specialist to own security conversations in EMEA, partnering with Solutions Architects and Account Executives. You will translate data architecture into controls frameworks and lead security discussions with CISOs and security teams.

You will define secure deployment patterns, oversee threat modelling, and maintain audit-ready documentation—SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS—across the engagement lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Significant customer-facing technical experience in data platforms.
• Deep understanding of data architecture and security controls.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
• Ability to translate security into auditable deliverables for auditors.

Responsibilities

• Act as the security overlay on EMEA opportunities, discussing security, privacy, or compliance with customers.
• Lead security conversations with CISOs and security architects.
• Design and validate secure deployment patterns including encryption, identity federation, and access control.
• Run threat modelling and architecture reviews with customer security teams.
• Be the field's authority on compliance posture across SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS.
• Raise the quality and speed of security questionnaires and DPIAs.
