Job summary

PA Consulting in Belfast is seeking a security architect to define end-to-end security architecture and deliver secure solutions. You will design system architectures, review client security measures, and work with cross-functional teams in a hybrid setup across client sites and offices.

The role requires solid information security foundations, professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, SABSA), and experience delivering security projects for large infrastructure.

What You Can Expect

• Defining end‑to‑end security architecture and delivering solutions for projects or programs, creating Conceptual, Logical, and Implementation Architecture views.
• Designing secure system architectures using patterns and principles to manage business and security risks.
• Reviewing and enhancing clients' current security measures by applying innovative security architecture solutions.
• Work to agile best practices and cross‑functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders. You’ll be using your technical skills to problem‑solve with our clients, as well as working on internal projects.
• Live in‑person whiteboarding sessions to problem‑solve as a team, alongside asynchronous communication on Teams.
• Hybrid working with the team on client site or in our office a minimum of two days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site.

Qualifications

• You have a solid foundation in information security.
• You hold relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, IISP/CCP, TOGAF, SABSA).
• You bring a background of delivering security solutions for large‑scale infrastructure or integration projects.

• You enjoy collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.

Please be aware that some of our UK roles at PA Consulting require UK security clearance. All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard however, some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
