Job summary

Vanguard seeks a hands-on Technical Lead to drive engineering, integration, modernization, and reliability of its global physical security platforms. Qualifications

• Eight years of related experience, including at least three years supporting system integrations, automation, software development, or scripting solutions.
• Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience with enterprise physical security platforms such as Genetec Security Center, Software House CURE, Envoy Visitor Management, or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated experience engineering and supporting enterprise applications in complex, highly available environments.
• Working knowledge of application architecture, APIs, databases, operating systems, networks, authentication, and cybersecurity controls.
• Experience leading technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and lifecycle or modernization initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery and lifecycle management for physical security applications, servers, middleware, databases, and related infrastructure.
• Review and approve solution architecture, technical designs, system configurations, and implementation approaches.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise IT, cybersecurity, risk, regulatory, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate implementation activities with internal technology teams, Global Security stakeholders, and third-party partners.
• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-enabled, API-driven, and automated security technology solutions.
• Validate solutions through structured testing, technical acceptance, and production-readiness reviews.
