Job summary

CBS Butler is seeking a Security Application Architect in Bracknell to design and maintain a secure Gateway solution within a security-focused environment. You will work with Solution Architects and 3rd Line teams to implement technical changes and ensure service availability.

The role requires willingness to undergo high-level security clearance and regular travel to London and the South West, with a focus on hands-on delivery and practical problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with RHEL and Windows infrastructure.
• VMware vSphere experience.
• Knowledge of SMTP and email technologies.
• Background in application design, development, infrastructure engineering or Gateway support.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and maintenance of a secure Gateway solution within a security-focused engineering environment.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineering Leads and 3rd Line teams to design and implement technical changes.
• Maintain service availability and troubleshoot complex issues related to the gateway.
