The Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester is seeking Security and Welfare Officers to join the Security and Welfare team. This permanent, full-time role is 35 hours per week with a 4 on 4 off rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.
You will patrol RAU campuses, respond to welfare incidents, manage reception duties, and help maintain safety standards across the estate. A GCSE or equivalent is required, with security or customer service experience desirable; a valid driving licence
Salary: Starting at £24,215 progressing to £27,319 per annum
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Average 35 hours per week full-time: flexibility required for night shifts, working a 4 on 4 off rota pattern to include weekends and bank holidays.

The Security and Welfare Officers work as part of the Security and Welfare team within the IT & Estates directorate to ensure the safety and welfare of students, staff and visitors. The team provide a reassuring, supportive and welcoming presence delivering the highest level of customer service and satisfaction, whilst also protecting and caring for the RAU estate and buildings.
There may be opportunities to work additional hours/overtime to cover for colleagues’ absences, and to assist during busy periods and events.
