Job summary

Booker Wholesale is hiring a Security Analyst to protect and maintain branch systems, including Linux servers and Android devices. You’ll work across Technology and Operations to strengthen security controls and manage vulnerabilities. The role offers learning in PCI DSS and security governance within a retail technology estate.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver improvements and maintain accurate documentation, while adhering to governance processes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
• Experience with Android devices or endpoint management tools.
• Interest in cyber security and willingness to learn.
• Understanding of vulnerability management, endpoint security and access controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor security patching and upgrades across branch systems.
• Review scan results and support remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Monitor software versions and lifecycle status.
• Investigate and resolve security, stability and availability issues.
• Support security controls across the Booker estate.
• Maintain asset inventories and technical documentation.
• Support security projects, delivering outcomes on time and quality.
• Collaborate with technology, operations and supplier teams.
• Follow change management, security and governance processes.
