Job summary

Booker is seeking a Security Analyst to protect and maintain branch systems, including Linux servers and Android devices, within its Technology Security team in the UK. The role emphasizes patching, vulnerability remediation and secure, compliant operations across a diverse retail tech estate.

You will collaborate with Technology and Operations teams, learn about governance and PCI DSS, and help implement security controls while keeping documentation up to date.

At Booker, technology plays a vital role in keeping our business moving. As a Security Analyst, you'll help protect and maintain the systems that support our branches, ensuring they're secure, up to date and operating effectively.

This is a hands‑on role within the Booker Technology Security team, working across a diverse technology estate that includes Linux servers, Android devices, point‑of‑sale systems and other branch technologies. If you're someone who enjoys working with Linux, Android and operational technology environments, this could be a great opportunity to develop your cyber security career.

You'll work closely with teams across Technology and Operations to improve security controls, manage vulnerabilities, support technical projects and help keep our systems protected. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to learn about security governance, compliance standards and industry best practices, including PCI DSS.

It would be great if you also have

• Experience working in a retail, wholesale or operational technology environment.
• Exposure to POS systems, handheld devices, RF devices or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of mobile device management solutions.
• Awareness of security compliance or governance processes.
