Job summary

Northern Gas Networks is seeking a dedicated Security Administrator to help manage the systems that keep our sites and assets secure. You will administer our electronic security and e-locking systems, maintain accurate records, manage access permissions and support audits to ensure robust control of security databases and processes.

Based at our Doxford Park office in Sunderland, you will work with Security, HR and Operational teams to deliver accurate reporting and compliant operations,

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Previous administrative experience in a busy environment.
• Ability to collate, analyse and validate data accurately.
• Excellent written, verbal and numerical communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
• A proactive and positive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the e-locking key management system and associated databases.
• Process key allocations, access requests and system authorisation changes.
• Maintain accurate records of lock populations, users and access permissions.
• Carry out system and process audits, producing management information and reports.
• Work with HR to manage leaver processes and access rights changes.
• Support integration activities with wider security systems and technologies.
• Manage security records and audit logs in line with operational requirements.
• Support the continuous operation and reliability of security systems and processes
• Provide admin support activities across the wider Supply Strategy team as required.
