Job summary

Northern Gas Networks, based at Sunderland with hybrid Working, is seeking a Security Administrator to manage electronic security and e-locking systems. You will maintain records, control access, and support audits to ensure secure operations across our sites and assets.

In this role you will collaborate with Security, HR and Operational teams, delivering accurate data, robust administration and compliant processes to protect the network’s integrity and operational resilience.

• Ability to collate, analyse and validate data accurately.
• Excellent written, verbal and numerical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the e-locking key management system and associated databases.
• Process key allocations, access requests and system authorisation changes.
• Maintain accurate records of lock populations, users and access permissions.
• Carry out system and process audits, producing management information and reports.
• Work with HR to manage leaver processes and access rights changes.
• Support integration activities with wider security systems and technologies.
• Manage security records and audit logs in line with operational requirements.
• Support the continuous operation and reliability of security systems and processes.
• Provide admin support activities across the wider Supply Strategy team as required.
