Job summary

Corps Security is recruiting a site-based Account Security Manager to lead a team of security officers, supervisors and receptionists. You will drive day-to-day operations, safeguard assets, and implement security policies across the site.

The role requires strong planning and commercial acumen, with experience in contract management and excellent IT skills. An SIA Front-Line License and a Full UK Driving Licence are essential.

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence - essential.
• Previous contract management experience - essential.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and lead a team to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day operational management of a team of security officers, supervisors and receptionists.
• Safeguard company assets including people, buildings and information.
• Implement security policies and conduct risk assessments.
• Lead, manage and motivate direct reports with coaching and development planning.
• Prepare and submit reports and KPI data to relevant departments.

Who are we looking for?

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a site based Account Security Manager. Someone who has the ability to manage a security team and provide an efficient, flexible, and motivated team is pivotal to the success of this role.

You will work - 40hrs per week, Mon-Fri, 0700-1600. Start/finish times, flexible.

You will need to have excellent planning, organisational and commercial skills together with experience to recognise opportunities.

What you will need:

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
• A Full UK Manual Driving License - essential.
• Previous contract management experience essential.
• Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
• Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards

What are you going to do:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of a team of security officers, supervisors, and receptionists.
• Safeguarding of company assets to include people, buildings, and information.
• Implementation of security policies.
• Undertake security threat & risk assessments.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as directed by the Client or Corps Security Management Team.
• Identify practical areas for personal development of the team, which can be implemented in conjunction with the Contracts Manager.
• To lead, manage and motivate direct reports including: goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development planning, and monitor attendance / timekeeping.
• Prompt and accurate submission of all necessary reports and performance measurement documentation to the appropriate departments.
• Effective rostering of site personnel.
• Attainment of Company’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and assist with investigation of apparent non-conformance.
