Job summary

Marex Group invites applications for a Securities Finance role within its fast-paced Capital Markets team in the EMEA region. You will identify trading opportunities, price stock borrowing and lending, and manage risk across equities and fixed income for external counterparties and internal desks.

You will engage directly with banks, hedge funds and market makers, supporting onboarding and ongoing client relationships while coordinating with Operations and Technology to maintain smooth

Qualifications

• Experience in Securities Borrowing and Lending or Secured Financing required.
• Deep knowledge of EMEA and APAC hard-to-borrow and specials trading is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and relationship management skills.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end trade life cycles.
• Knowledge of balance sheet impacts and liquidity metrics.
• Experience in a regulated environment with risk/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute Securities Finance trading opportunities across EMEA.
• Provide pricing on Stock Borrowing, Lending and Financing to counterparties and internal teams.
• Assist management with risk management for Securities Finance activities.
• Interact with clients, including banks, hedge funds, market makers and fund managers.
• Support onboarding of new client relationships and maintain existing ones.
• Collaborate with Operations and Technology to support trading activities.
• Contribute to strategies to increase P&L and analyze markets and products.
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulatory requirements and internal policies.
