Qualifications

Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to use Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Strong understanding of confidentiality.
Strong organisational and time management skills to manage delivery schedules and workloads.
Ability to undertake manual handling tasks safely.
Ability to work independently with a high level of reliability.

The Mail Driver plays a vital role in supporting the operational effectiveness of Essex Police by ensuring the secure, timely, and accurate movement of items across the county.
Based at the Mail Hub in Chelmsford, the role requires travel to multiple police sites and partner locations, maintaining a reliable delivery schedule.
Balance driving duties with operational hub tasks to support essential functions across the force.
Uphold integrity, confidentiality and evidential standards in all handling.
Coordinate with Digital Forensics, Property Services and Crime Scene Investigation where required.
