Rolls-Royce plc in Bristol seeks a Secure Infrastructure Lead to drive physical security standards across the Defence Aerospace programme. You will act as the intelligent customer for security policy, standards and documentation, ensuring compliance with UK MOD policy and GovS 007.

The role requires DV clearance to start, an SC check, and strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including PSyA, NPSA, and site teams.

Qualifications

  • Excellent working knowledge of UK security regulations, UK MoD policies, and security management.
  • Experience of physical security arrangements in compliance with NPSA and PSyA.
  • Experience across security audit and compliance.
  • Understanding of construction project management processes (RIBA), project reporting and record keeping.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the enterprise with strong influencing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the authority and intelligent customer for physical security standards.
  • Lead in developing, implementing and maintaining the physical security standards and all documents, procedures and policies.
  • Maintain relationships with external organisations (UK MOD accreditation body PSyA, NPSA) and internal stakeholders to ensure security arrangements and construction activities meet standards and are approved.
  • Support the maintenance of the programme and facility Security Plan and Security Risk Register.

In this role, you will report directly to the Security Operations and SCIDA Manager (EMEA) and will be part of the team accountable for the delivery of our infrastructure projects, acting as the authority and intelligent customer for physical security policy, standards and documentation.With a resolute focus on both Health and Safety and Security, you will support the delivery of infrastructure which is compliant to UK MOD security policy and requirements, providing assurance these standards are met.**What you will be doing:*** Act as the authority and intelligent customer for physical security standards Programme facilities and sites in accordance with the Government Functional Standard GovS 007.* Lead in developing, implementing and maintaining the physical security standards and all associated documents, procedures and policies for compartments/facilities in accordance with programme security requirements.* Maintain relationships with relevant external organisations, which include the UK MOD accreditation body (PSyA), National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) and internal stakeholders such as the Site Security, Group Property, Security Operations, Risk and Compliance, and principal contractors to demonstrate that security arrangements, infrastructure works, and construction activities are compliant, meet the required programme and accreditation standards and are approved by the relevant accreditation authorities.* Support the maintenance of the programme and facility Security Plan and Security Risk Register, working collaboratively with the wider Defence security function.**Position qualifications:*** Excellent working knowledge of UK security regulations, UK MoD Security policies/procedures, technical security systems and the principles of security management.* Experience of physical security arrangements in compliance with National Protective Security Agency (NPSA) and especially working with PSyA.* Experience across security audit and compliance.* An understanding of construction project management processes (RIBA), project reporting and record keeping.* Ability to work collaboratively across the enterprise with strong influencing and communication skills.This role will require you to hold a Developed Vetting (DV). To start, you will require a minimum-Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
