CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking an experienced Front End Developer to build intuitive, secure, role-aware interfaces for a next-generation Defence Intelligence platform, based in London four days a week onsite.

The role requires strong React and TypeScript skills, REST API integration, and DV security clearance, with Agile delivery and collaboration with UX and backend teams in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• MOD/Defence or national security experience required.
• Strong React development experience.
• Strong TypeScript capability.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and collaborating with backend teams.
• Experience building accessible, responsive, maintainable UIs.
• Experience using Git in Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build reusable UI components aligned with a design system and library.
• Collaborate with UX Designers to translate wireframes into production interfaces.
• Integrate frontend with REST APIs, workflow services and identity/access controls.
• Develop role-aware dashboards, task views and operational queues.
• Apply accessibility, responsive design and usability best practices.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to QA.
