Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to deliver secure, mission-critical software within a Defence environment. You will work across frontend and backend, building scalable services and APIs while aligning with UX, Product and Defence stakeholders.

This role requires current DV Security Clearance and MOD/Defence experience; you will be onsite in London for four days per week, contributing to high-profile programmes in a highly secure setting.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering secure software in MOD/Defence or national security environments.
• Strong Java development and Spring Boot expertise.
• Proficient in React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and data persistence (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React and TypeScript.
• Develop scalable backend services and secure RESTful APIs.
• Build intuitive, accessible frontend applications.
• Develop reusable frontend components aligned with design system principles.
• Integrate frontend with backend APIs, and implement data persistence.
