Job Details
  1. Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week on an any 5 in 7 contract, including weekend working. The role involves a rotating 6-week shift pattern with 2 full weekends off every 6 weeks.
  2. Salary: £36,400 - £57,600 with a 20% shift premium.
  3. Role Type: 1 Permanent and 1 Fixed Term Contract.
Role Overview

As a Section Manager at one of our National Distribution Centres (NDCs), you will lead and motivate your team of Partners, ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain within your area. Your responsibilities include managing stock levels, driving sales and profitability, and maintaining effective communication across teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your team’s development and provide necessary tools and support.
  • Align Partner resources with demand to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify and implement improvements.
  • Coordinate with other departments and Partners to meet KPIs.
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with Partners and empower them in their roles.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Experience in logistics or supply chain environments.
  • Stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing change in logistics settings.
  • Proficiency with IT systems such as MS Excel, MS Word, Warehouse Management Systems, DLx, and email.
Desirable Skills
  • Flexibility to cover other operational areas as needed.
