Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking an experienced Operations Engineering Leader to drive maintenance strategy and reliability across the section. You will develop, maintain, and improve equipment and maintenance systems to deliver performance and cost improvements.

Reporting to the Section Lead, you will partner with Technical Leads and shift technicians to plan outages, implement SMPs, and coach engineers while upholding safety and quality standards on site in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge across processes and production lines.
• Experience in maintenance planning and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop engineers and technicians.
• Data-driven problem solving with SRC/DMAIC and RCA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead safety programmes and drive workflows for maintenance.
• Develop and improve AM/PM schedules and SMPs for the section.
• Plan major outages, rebuilds and lifecycle activities with external partners.
• Manage budgets, costs and continuous improvement initiatives (IL6S).
• Coach engineers, mentor apprentices, and ensure skills stay current.
