Job summary

Rudding Park is seeking an energetic Restaurant Supervisor to join our on-site team. You’ll take ownership of a floor section during service, lead a small team of waiting staff, and ensure a high standard of guest experience while coordinating with the kitchen. You’ll handle guest queries, assist with training, and help maintain smooth service flow.

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of a section of the restaurant floor during service, ensuring a consistently high standard of guest experience.
• Leads and supervise a small team of waiting team/hosts on shift, briefing them pre-service and keeping standards up throughout.
• Handles guest queries, feedback, and any issues on their section, escalating where needed.
• Supports with training and mentoring newer or junior team members.
• Ensures tables are set, turned, and run to standard, supports smooth pacing between kitchen and guests.
• Assists with opening/closing procedures, and cash/till handling as required.
• Depstises for a duty/assistant manager when needed.
• Complete relevant shift reports.
• Support communication within the Management Team through handover process and operating procedures such as opening and closing.

• Deputises for a duty/assistant manager when needed
• Complete relevant shift reports

In return for your hard work and commitment we offer:

• Enhanced pay - 50p per hour for evening work after 7pm (Sunday - Thursday), £1 per hour for weekend day work until 7pm (Saturdays and Sundays), £1.50 per hour for evenings from 7pm (Friday and Saturdays)
• Service Charge (Tronc) earn up to an additional £5,000 per year
• Company sick pay for up to 4 weeks
