Wates Group is seeking a Section Manager to take ownership of a defined area of works on the HMP Welland Oaks project. You will lead site activities, work with project, commercial and design teams, and ensure delivery aligns with programme, safety, and quality standards.

You will manage subcontractors and site teams, coordinate multiple activities, and strive for continuous improvement in a high-profile, live environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering medium to large construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage a section of works, coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a section of works, ensuring activities are planned, coordinated and delivered safely and efficiently.
• Monitor progress, resolve challenges and keep the project on track with subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Promote high safety and quality standards and ensure effective communication across the delivery team.
