Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Section Engineer for the A57 Mottram Moor Link Road scheme in the Manchester/Longdendale area. You will oversee setting out, quality control, health, safety and environmental processes, and progress reporting with weekly programmes.

Ideal candidates will have experience in complex setting out, ACP knowledge, tolerances awareness, and the ability to manage subcontractors while maintaining budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Able to carry out complex setting out.
• Understanding of ACP and permit-to-work systems.
• Awareness of construction tolerances and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex setting out and supervise subordinates.
• Produce ACPs, risk assessments and method statements.
• Maintain weekly programmes and communicate targets to the workforce.
• Monitor budgets, wastage, and subcontractor performance.
