Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Section Engineer to join a civil engineering project team. You will lead the engineering team and subcontractors, ensure RAMS are written before works start, and confirm ITPs meet industry standards while monitoring progress.

The role requires proven experience in a similar position, ideally highways experience, and a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent. CSCS, driving licence, with SMSTS and First Aid as beneficial qualifications.

Qualifications

• Be able to display previous experience in a similar position. (highways experience is a bonus!)
• Ideally a Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• CSCS.
• Driving Licence
• SMSTS and first Aid (beneficial but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering team and subcontractors of your section ensuring all RAMS are written before works commence.
• Ensure ITP's are recorded and are up to industry standard.
• Monitor the work to ensure that any H&S concerns and non-compliance with company policies are quickly rectified.
• Maintain an up to date and accurate monthly programme.
