Job summary

M Group Highways is seeking a Civil Engineer in the East of England to join its Civils projects team. You will manage all engineering activities, set out, and direct the workforce while ensuring high quality and safety standards across projects and sites.

Responsibilities include mentoring Site and Graduate Engineers, maintaining records including site diaries and as-built information, and using AutoCAD for drawings and documentation. The role spans private and public sector projects in the UK.

Qualifications

• A good level of experience in civil engineering and workforce supervision including earthworks; drainage, structures and Highways.
• Ability to remain flexible and drive change in the role.
• Highly organised with ability to juggle priorities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage all engineering activities including engineering control, setting out and directing the workforce.
• Lead Quality control to ensure compliance with project design and specifications.
• Develop Site and Graduate Engineers and support health, safety and environmental standards.
