Kier Group seeks an experienced Section Engineer to join KierBAM Joint Venture in Plymouth on a live MOD redevelopment project.

You'll manage setting out, quality, and technical problem-solving within our WRB team, ensuring delivery to programme constraints at a complex naval site.

Formación

• Civil Engineering degree (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng or MEng).
• SMSTS and CSCS White PQP/AQP or Black Managers card.
• Chartership or Incorporation with IStructE/ICE or equivalent.
• Experience with reinforcement detailing, formwork and falsework.
• Strong communication and collaborative working skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare as-built drawings and maintain Project Quality Plan.
• Provide setting out and dimensional control for accurate construction.
• Record and test workmanship and materials (drainage, concrete, brickwork).
• Provide engineering support to overcome technical problems.
• Manage systems to review progress against time, quality, dimensions and quantity.

We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our KierBAM Joint Venture team based in Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Location: Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard

Hours: 45 hours per week

KierBAM is a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall, currently delivering an exciting redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth. We're seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join our team in this dynamic and rewarding environment. You'll be working in a live MOD facility, contributing to a significant project that makes a real difference.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Section Engineer, You'll Be Working Within The WRB Team, Supporting Them In Delivering This Important Redevelopment Project. Your Day To Day Will Include

• Managing the preparation of as-built drawings and maintaining the Project Quality Plan
• Providing and maintaining setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction
• Overseeing the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, including drainage, concrete, and brickwork
• Providing engineering support to overcome technical problems and answer queries
• Managing systems to review work progress against time, quality, dimensions and quantity

What are we looking for?

This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:

• You hold a Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, or MEng)
• You have your SMSTS and CSCS White PQP/AQP or Black Managers card
• You're working towards or hold Chartership/Incorporation with IStructE, ICE or another appropriate professional body
• You have experience with reinforcement detailing, formwork and falsework
• You possess strong communication skills and enjoy collaborative working
