Colchester-based civil engineering opportunity for a Section Engineer / Senior Engineer. You will set out works, support the site management team and ensure quality and safety standards across highways, drainage and infrastructure schemes.
Role involves liaising with project teams, producing RAMS, maintaining records and assisting with valuations. Requires NEC3/NEC4 familiarity, AutoCAD and Leica/Trimble survey gear, plus a full UK driving licence and travel across the South East.

Due to continued project success, our client is looking to recruit an additional Section Engineer to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of highways, structures and infrastructure schemes. With a strong pipeline of secured work and further projects currently being tendered, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business offering long-term career development and exposure to a diverse range of civil engineering projects.
The successful candidate will ideally be based in the Essex area and will have previous experience working for a main contractor on civil engineering, highways, drainage, earthworks, reinforced concrete and infrastructure projects.
You’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, taking responsibility for setting out, quality assurance, engineering records and supporting the site management team to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
