Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment is seeking an experienced Section Engineer for a major civil engineering contract across the Norwich to Tilbury corridor. Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying of major civil engineering works.
• Providing engineering support across earthworks, piling, substation and associated infrastructure.
• Managing and maintaining accurate site records and quality documentation.
• Producing and reviewing engineering documentation, including ITPs, permits and inspection records.
• Ensuring works are constructed in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
• Working closely with subcontractors and site teams to ensure efficient delivery.
• Monitoring progress and supporting the planning and coordination of works.
• Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring works meet project requirements.

Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a portfolio of major infrastructure projects across the Norwich to Tilbury corridor, including significant earthworks, piling and substation construction..

They are looking to appoint an experienced Section Engineer but will also consider experienced Site Engineers.

The Role

As Section Engineer, you will work closely with the Site Agent and wider project team, taking responsibility for the engineering delivery of your section of works.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting out and surveying of major civil engineering works.
• Providing engineering support across earthworks, piling, substation and associated infrastructure.
• Managing and maintaining accurate site records and quality documentation.
• Producing and reviewing engineering documentation, including ITPs, permits and inspection records.
• Ensuring works are constructed in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
• Working closely with subcontractors and site teams to ensure efficient delivery.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Section Engineer within civil engineering/infrastructure.
• Alternatively, strong experience as a Site Engineer with the ambition and capability to progress.
• Experience across earthworks, piling, utilities, substations or similar major infrastructure works.
• Strong setting-out and surveying skills.
• A good understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

Salary upto £49,000 + pkg.
