Job summary

Provide Education- South Yorkshire is seeking a Secondary Teaching Assistant for a DN3 school with an immediate start and ongoing placement opportunities. You will support students with academic work and pastoral needs, provide 1:1 and small group support, and help students engage with activities. DBS checks are required, with a supportive consultant network and room for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people.
• Clear communication with students and staff.
• Confidence supporting students within the classroom.
• Ability to work as part of a wider school team.
• Good organisation and reliability.
• Understanding of safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in DN3. The role involves supporting students with their academic learning and pastoral needs, with an immediate start available once all required checks are completed.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience supporting children or young people, or relevant transferable experience.
• The ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
• Confidence supporting students within the classroom
• The ability to work as part of a wider school team
• Good organisation and reliability
• An understanding of the importance of safeguarding

Experience supporting students with SEND or additional learning needs would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
