Job summary

Provide Education- South Yorkshire is hiring a dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a full-time role at a DN12 area school. Immediate start, duration until Christmas, with support from the Provide Education team.

You will teach KS1 Year 2, adapt for SEND, manage ~20 pupils, and foster a safe, inclusive classroom while delivering engaging lessons and building strong pupil relationships.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS (or equivalent) to teach Year 2 in Key Stage 1.
• Experience teaching Year 2 and KS1 is preferred.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Year 2 lessons to a class of ~20 pupils.
• Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs.

Year 2 Teacher Required – DN12

Provide Education is currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Year 2 Teacher for a full-time position at a school in the DN12 area. This role is available for an immediate start and will run until Christmas.

The class consists of approximately 20 pupils, including children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and pupils who present with more challenging needs. The successful candidate will be confident in adapting their teaching to meet a range of learning needs and creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a patient, adaptable and enthusiastic teacher who can build positive relationships with pupils and provide consistent support to help every child succeed.

Ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
• Be confident supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
• Be adaptable, patient and able to differentiate lessons to meet pupils' individual needs.
• Create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment.
