Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Warrington that is looking for a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to join their Designated Provision. You will provide targeted support on a one to one and small group basis, helping students access learning and develop their confidence within the school environment.

The role would suit a Secondary Teaching Assistant with previous experience supporting young people, although candidates with relevant experience in primary

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role supporting students.
• Experience supporting students with mild SEN is advantageous.
• Experience in primary education, care, youth work or other support roles may be considered.

Responsibilities

You will provide targeted support on a one to one and small group basis, helping students access learning and develop their confidence within the school environment.

The role would suit a Secondary Teaching Assistant with previous experience supporting young people, although candidates with relevant experience in primary education, care, youth work or other support-based roles may also be considered.

The successful candidate will be patient, approachable and confident working with students who may require additional encouragement or adaptations to their learning.
