GTCS

You must be registered with the GTCS. Maintaining registration, including paying any fees, is required. Teachers in their probationary year can apply for temporary, unpromoted vacancies but will be paid at the probationer rate of £31,584 per year (pro-rata if applicable).

RC Approval

Guidance for teachers seeking approval to teach in a Catholic school, if applicable. The successful candidate will need approval from the Roman Catholic Church, in line with Section 21(A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980. Forms are available at: https://sces.org.uk/church-approval/

Head Teacher Reports

Successful candidates must download and complete the Head Teacher Report form, including applicant details and signatures. The completed form should be sent to Human Resources via email at interview.support@inverclyde.gov.uk, cc'ing the recruiting Head Teacher.
