Job summary

Vida Education is seeking qualified secondary school teachers to cover a range of schools in Whitehaven and the surrounding areas. The role offers flexible day-to-day work with short-term, long-term and potential permanent opportunities across Cumbria.

We are particularly keen to hear from teachers specialising in core secondary subjects and able to adapt to different school environments. A dedicated consultant will support you throughout placements and CPD-accredited training is provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (QTLS).
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons across UK secondary subjects.
• Manage classrooms effectively and maintain student engagement.
• Collaborate with schools and Vida Education consultants to coordinate placements.
