Job summary

Vida Education is seeking qualified secondary school teachers to work across Barrow-in-Furness and surrounding areas on a supply basis, with flexible day-to-day bookings, short-term and long-term placements.

Locations include Cumbria and the wider local area, offering opportunities in English, Maths, Science, and other subjects, with a dedicated consultant and pathways to long-term or permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent is required for UK secondary teaching.
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools is essential.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across secondary subjects.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding.
• Plan and assess students, providing feedback to support progress.

We work closely with local schools to provide reliable, high-quality teaching staff on a supply basis, offering flexible day-to-day work alongside short-term, long-term and potential permanent opportunities.
