Secondary School Teacher - Tavistock

Educated Recruitment is a supply teacher employment agency celebrating its 10th year, actively recruiting Secondary School Teachers (ECTs or experienced) to join our friendly, supportive, and busy team for ad hoc supply opportunities in Tavistock.

Please note: Our daily pay rate for supply teachers starts at £120 and can be negotiated up to £200 based on experience, pay scale, and responsibilities. The final rate is at the discretion of the school budgets.

Secondary Supply Teacher Responsibilities

1. Delivering cover lessons
2. Preparing lesson plans
3. Following safeguarding and school policies
4. Marking work as needed
5. Liaising with school staff

Secondary Supply Teacher Essentials

1. QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds are also welcome)
2. A current DBS or Update Service subscription (the agency can assist with this)
3. A minimum of 3 years of reference history
4. Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum
5. Reliability
6. Excellent communication skills

We are seeking Secondary Teachers, Supply Teachers, Maths Teachers, Cover Supervisors, KS3 and KS4 Teachers, English, PE, Science, ICT, Drama, Music, and Art Teachers in Tavistock and surrounding areas.
