Job summary

Long Term Futures is recruiting Secondary Teachers across all subject areas for September 2026 opportunities across London. This includes permanent and long-term temp-to-perm roles with interviews happening quickly to secure September starts.

Locations covered include North, East, South and Central London, with roles across KS3 to KS5 and a broad range of subjects. Competitive PAY to scale and dedicated consultant support are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching within a UK secondary school is highly desirable
• Strong subject and curriculum knowledge
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Ability to inspire and engage secondary-aged students
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
• Both experienced teachers and suitable ECTs are encouraged to apply

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available
• Deliver your subject specialism in line with the UK secondary curriculum
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE and, where applicable, A-Level examinations
• Assess, monitor and track student progress
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement
• Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school
• Work collaboratively with departmental and senior leadership teams
