Job summary

Teach is seeking qualified Secondary Teachers for flexible supply and long-term roles across UK secondary schools and academies. We offer day-to-day, short-term, long-term and permanent positions in all subject areas, with both full-time and part-time options and opportunities across KS3–KS5.

Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, we'll work to match roles to your expertise and availability, supported by an experienced education consultant.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A flexible and professional approach.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons within your subject specialism.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons where required.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff.
  • Follow all safeguarding procedures.

Are you a qualified Secondary Teacher looking for flexible supply work or your next long-term teaching opportunity? Teach is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teachers to work in a variety of schools and academies. We have opportunities available across all subject specialisms, offering day-to-day supply, short-term, long-term and permanent positions. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we'll work with you to find roles that match your experience, subject specialism and availability.

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • Typical school hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm (may vary by school)

Salary

Competitive rates of pay, dependent on experience, qualifications and the responsibilities of each role.
