Secondary Teacher - Exeter

Educated Recruitment, now in its 10th year, is a supply teacher employment agency actively recruiting Secondary School Teachers (ECTs or experienced) to join our friendly, supportive, and busy team for ad hoc supply teaching opportunities in Exeter.

Please note: Our daily pay rate for qualified teachers starts at £130 for newly qualified teachers, with potential to negotiate up to £200 based on experience, pay scale, and additional responsibilities. Final rates are at the discretion of school budgets.

Supply Teacher Responsibilities

• Delivering cover lessons
• Preparing lesson plans
• Following safeguarding and school policies
• Marking work as needed
• Liaising with school staff

Supply Teacher Essentials

• QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds are also welcome)
• A current DBS or Update Service subscription (the agency can assist with this)
• A minimum of 3 years' reference history
• Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum
