Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Supply Teacher to work across secondary schools in Leicestershire from September. You will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure pupils remain engaged in learning throughout the day.

The role offers flexible day-to-day assignments with potential longer-term placements for the right candidate, with a supportive team and competitive PAYE pay rates. Registration and ongoing consultant support are provided.

Qualifications

• QTS is desirable but not essential.
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to confidently deliver lessons across a range of subjects.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible, reliable and professional approach to teaching.

We are looking to recruit a Supply Teacher to provide general cover across secondary schools in Leicestershire from September. The successful Supply Teacher will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure students remain engaged in their learning throughout the school day. This Supply Teacher role offers flexible day-to-day assignments with the opportunity to progress into long-term placements for the right Supply Teacher. Whether you are looking to gain experience across different schools or are seeking a route into a longer-term role, this Supply Teacher position offers excellent flexibility and career progression.

The successful Supply Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) (Desireable but not a necessity)
• Experience teaching within UK secondary schools
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to confidently deliver lessons across a range of subjects
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A flexible, reliable, and professional approach to teaching
