The Hive Centre is the third site of Hill Park School. It provides for secondary-aged autistic students with high anxiety, who cannot access mainstream onsite provisions. Many students may have been home educated or received tutoring, and need bespoke transition to onsite learning. Students will access an age-appropriate curriculum and work towards GCSEs and other secondary qualifications.
We are seeking a full-time Secondary Teacher capable of teaching at least two subjects at GCSE level. The Hive Centre offers a supportive environment for teachers who are reflective, flexible, resilient, and interested in holistic, individualized learning approaches, including physical, sensory, and behavioral development alongside curriculum learning. Experience with GCSE students, SEND, or specialist school backgrounds is desirable. The role involves working in a less formal secondary education setting.
Interested candidates are encouraged to visit The Hive. Please contact the school office to arrange an informal visit or conversation with the Head of Site, Linda Williams.
