Secondary Supply Teacher – Day-to-day supply across Newmarket and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible

Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of subjects and year groups
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learners
  • Support students’ academic and emotional development
  • Collaborate with support staff and senior leaders to ensure effective provision
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide feedback and contribute to pupil progress reviews
  • Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in secondary settings across different subjects
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Secondary Supply Teacher
  • Flexible, reliable, and confident working across different schools
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
