Job summary

Qualifications

• Passionate about delivering high-quality, inclusive education and supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Experience or understanding of supporting pupils with various SEN including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech/language needs.
• Able to differentiate learning to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records in line with EHCP targets.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and external professionals.
• Promote positive behaviour, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to support engagement and achievement.
• Encourage pupils to develop independence, communication and social skills.
