TeacherActive is partnering with a SEND provision in Wakefield to recruit a SEND Inclusion Support Worker. The role involves day-to-day or long-term cover across KS3/KS4, supporting pupils with Autism/ASD, ADHD and other SEND needs.

You will promote positive engagement and help pupils access education in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will have SEND experience, strong behaviour management, and a patient, resilient approach, with a focus on building positive relationships with

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting Autism/ASD and ADHD.
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils is desirable.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• A patient and resilient approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships with young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day or long-term cover for KS3/KS4.
• Support pupils across KS3/KS4.
