TeacherActive is currently recruiting experienced and qualified Combined Science Teachers for day-to-day supply teaching and long-term contract opportunities across Bristol, Swindon, Somerset and Wiltshire from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to bring Combined Science to life by linking scientific ideas across Biology, Chemistry and Physics through engaging theory and practical work. You will plan and deliver inclusive lessons, assess progress effectively and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Opportunities will be available from September 2026 and may range from individual day-to-day bookings to long-term contracts providing greater continuity within one school.

The successful qualified Combined Science Teacher will have:

• QTS with Combined Science specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Combined Science up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication, planning and assessment skills
• A clear commitment to safe and purposeful practical work
