Job summary

Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust is recruiting a School Effectiveness Partner for secondary schools on a fixed-term basis until 31 December 2027. The role is offered at 0.4 or 0.6 FTE to suit school needs and will focus on diagnosing barriers, shaping an improvement plan with leaders and holding them to account for delivery.

• Senior leadership as a headteacher, executive leader or system leader.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose what is holding the school back
• Shape an improvement plan with school leaders
• Hold school leaders to deliver the plan
• Strengthen teaching and curriculum
• Strengthen behaviour and attendance
• Build leadership capacity so improvement is owned within the school
• Prepare the school for its next inspection
• Report regularly to the Trust on progress and risks
