Job summary

Supply Desk are seeking a reliable Secondary School Caretaker to join a welcoming secondary school in Rickmansworth. This full-time, on-site role supports maintaining a safe, clean, and well-presented school environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

You'll carry out general maintenance, safety checks, and open/close duties, liaise with contractors, and help ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site.
• Ensure buildings, grounds, facilities and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
• Carry out regular health and safety checks and report issues promptly.
• Assist with opening and closing of the school premises.
• Support security of the school site and monitor access as required.
• Liaise with contractors and external services as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
