Position: Specialist PE Teacher

This school seeks a dedicated, caring PE teacher to instruct boys in physical education and life skills. The environment is warm and friendly, prioritising student wellbeing above all.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status
• At least 2 years of UK teaching experience
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Experience in setting targets, monitoring, and assessing student progress
• Understanding of SEND and how to support students with additional needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and evaluate individual termly targets; maintain achievement records in collaboration with colleagues
• Provide reports and assessments in accordance with school policy for various audiences, including detailed reports before annual reviews
• Maintain effective communication with parents/carers regarding their child's welfare and progress
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed, report concerns, and record information accordingly
