Job summary

Academics is seeking knowledgeable and hard-working Secondary Maths Teachers for an immediate start in the Southampton area. You will deliver engaging Maths lessons across the key stages, inspiring pupils and driving up standards of teaching and learning within local schools.

You may also be required to step in as a general cover teacher on occasion, so flexibility and strong classroom management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Be qualified to deliver Maths, with recent experience of working in UK schools.
• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have a track record of success in driving up standards of teaching and learning
• Have strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging Maths lessons
• Live within or be willing to travel to the Southampton area
• Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be reliable, adaptable and committed to supporting pupils' progress
• Have a clear Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one

Secondary Maths Teachers / Immediate Start

Academics are seeking knowledgeable and hard-working Maths Teachers to join our team of supply teachers for an immediate start.

We are looking for experienced Secondary Maths Teachers who are able to deliver engaging and exciting lessons across the key stages, with the ability to inspire pupils and drive up standards of teaching and learning within our local schools.

You may also be required to step in as a general cover teacher on occasion, so flexibility and strong classroom management skills are essential.
